So Creatives latest sound card boasts of impressive gaming performance and pretty good audio performance to boot. It also has a very capable headphone amplifier which puts it on par with the competition.
Thankfully the Recon 3D can safely be enjoyed by gamers and music lovers alike. The only real negative is the lack of Windows Vista and XP support which is a shame considering the ASUS Xonar STX works perfectly with the two older OS which a lot of people still use.
Still if you have Windows 7, I can easily recommend the Recon 3D for a better gaming and audio experience.
