Kingston India sent V+ 200 series for reviewing
Kingston and Corsair have been releasing series of SSD Drives in different capacities and giving a lot of reason for people to shift to SSD, considering the speed and load times you get from them.
Back when most companies started with SSDs and when 30gig was the best bet for consumers, you have to prioritize big time and back then when mechanical drive pricing was very pleasing for many and even with Seagate having Momentus XT, it needed more work such as better reliability, better controller, NCQ provided by default and better garbage collection without degrading the performance- or worse reducing the lifespan of the flash NAND due to aggressive garbage collection on the firmware. 64gigs is a relief, but to me 90GB comes perfectly for those who don’t want to spend a lot of money on 120gig drive and just need an OS drive+ more space than 64gig SSD drive to install many of the essentials like WORD, their favourite browsers and tools/games.
SSDNow V+ 200 90gig is one of the drives in that sweet spot for end users. Lets see how she does, especially compared with HyperX 3K.
