The packaging is slightly larger compared to those pocket sized boxes that standalone SSD drive comes in.
Vertex 4 comes with a 3.5" bracket and the necessary screws to mount in your desktop rigs, a “My SSD is faster than your HDD” sticker and an instruction manual+ Warranty Info published in most of the well- known language spoken around the world.
It is here where OCZ mentions that this drive comes with 5 years warranty- that’s 2 years more than a lot of consumer/enthusiast SSD Drive manufacturer offers. In any case, mentioning the warranty period box is important- especially for those who are familiar with benchmarks and performance but not about the warranty period.
