AIDA64 Benchmark v5.20 released, support for upcoming processors provided

Finalware has released the newer AIDA64 v5.20 benchmark which provides optimizations for AMD ‘Carrizo’ APU and Intel ‘Broadwell’ series processors, along with support for upcoming Intel ‘Braswell’, ‘Broadwell-H’, ‘Cherry Trail’ and ‘Skylake’ CPUs. Seeing that updates of benchmarking software are rolling in, it’s safe to speculate that these processor and SOC lines up from both Intel and AMD are soon to arrive in the retail markets.

AIDA64 also provided support for certain SSDs such as Crucial BX 100, MX 200 and SanDisk Ultra II SSD.

The list of features and improvements with AIDA64 v5.20 and also updates since v5.00 are as follows:

  • Corsair Neutron XT, Crucial BX100, Crucial MX200, SanDisk Ultra II SSD support
  • GPU details for NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960, GeForce GTX Titan X

Alleged ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 Ti (or Super) design leak

Nvidia Ampere graphics cards are coming soon but it seems that respective partners have already finalized its Ampere non-reference designs, allegedly. This is the leaked image from the supposed ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 Ti (or Super), the flagship which will use the 8nm Ampere chip. Earlier it was assuming Nvidia was going to have these fabricated from TSMC using its 7nm process. These will success the first generation RTX graphics cards that took advantage of the Windows DXR feature on Windows 10, bringing in-game Direct X-Ray Tracing.
