AMD cuts A-Series, FX and Phenom II X4 CPU prices

Sometime back it was reported that AMD has announced 2 new processors in their FX branding desktop processor lineups with Quad Core based FX-4350 and FX-6350. But it was also shown that the company has made a reduction of prices on their existing A-Series and FX-Series processor lineups. The price cut reflects as high as 19% reduction.

The socket FM1 APU based AMD A6-3600, A8-3800 and A8-3820 reflect about 12-19% reduction, although these processors are not meant for the retail market.

The socket FM2 based processors A6-5400K, A8-550 and A8-5600K get $10 cut, which reflects about 15% price reduction. Same also applied for FX-4300, FX-6300 and FX-8320 processors, which had 10%-15% drop. Phenom II X4 965BE has 11% drop, but multiple Phenom II X4 and X6 processors were removed from the price list, including 840, 905e, 910e, Phenom II X6 1055T, 1075T, 1090T BE and 1100T BE.
