AMD Q1 2013 Balance sheet shows net loss of $146 Million

While its significantly lesser loss $473 Million  in comparison with the previous Quarter, AMD released their balance sheet for Q1 2013 which showed that they’ve made a loss of $146 Million. Currently AMD’s stock prices have went down to nearly 6%, which even destroyed the minor profit from a sudden gain during the trading hours.

Like Intel, AMD is hoping that the June-quarter revenue will rise upto 2%. But unlike Intel which has a strong cashflow to able to fund for new processors not just for desktops, but also for tablets and smartphones, AMD’s declining cash flow and their balance would force them to reduce operating expenses and make them focus on markets like microservers, gaming consoles, and a bare-bone basic thin client and point-of-sale systems.
