AMD Radeon HD 7990 ES being put up on sale at eBAY

A very early engineering sample of AMD Radeon HD 7990 ‘Malta’ GPU is being put up for sale on eBay for the price of US $1,275.

The specifications are as follows:

Although the specification does seem to match up it is early to confirm if its the same card- or if it performs the same way as the retail version of the card would.  The seller claims that its a ‘brand new, unused, unopened, undamaged’ items and comes in its original packaging just like how one would find it in a retail store.

The dealer ‘wowbagger1234‘ has a feedback score of 208 with 100% positive feedback, so chances are high that this is a legit dealer. It is possible that it could be one of those channel partner packs much like how some chipset manufacturers give a whole box

(AMD India used to send their processors to me like that so far… it comes with a t-shirt and AMD’s Belt Buckle).
