With November 10th coming closer, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla PC specs requirements hint its hardware dependence based on its graphics presets. Ubisoft released a detailed specification table spread between five presets- Minimum, Recommended, High, Enthusiast and Ultra.
Comparison between the minimum to Ultra
At a bare minimum, Valhalla needs a modest Ryzen 3 1200 CPU or Intel Core i5-4460 with AMD R9 4GB or GTX 960 4G. All on a system with 8GB Dual channel memory. Ubisoft lists this will provide 30 FPS in 1080p. To max out on 4K gaming, you’ll need RX 5700XT or RTX 2080 on a Ryzen 7 3700X or Intel Core i7-9700K with 16GB memory. The game will run only on Windows 10-64bit, a standard for many AAA titles on the PC. Not surprising.
But irrespective of the system, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla needs a 50GB SSD space. This shouldn’t be an issue with a wide range of PC gamers, as many revolve around 500GB M.2 SSDs as a norm for primary storage. We even see gaming and streaming systems with SATA SSDs as secondary storage. We’ll get to see many PC games requiring SSDs as norm seeing next consoles use the same.
You’ll also notice Ubisoft talking about the inclusion of an in-game benchmark for performance analysis. The game runs on DX12, with uncapped frame rate and in-dept customization. Ubisoft also emphasized on multi-monitor and 21:9 Ultra Widescreen support. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will be available in multiple platforms- Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and 5, Stadia, and PC. Google Stadia but no GeForce Now? Interesting!
AC Valhalla is listed in Amazon but for PlayStation 4 including a free upgrade to PS5 and Xbox one, across several editions and both media formats. The PC variant needs to be purchased via UPlay. The game is available for pre-order and runs via Ubisoft UPlay.
