Bitfenix Merc Alpha PC Chassis Review

  1. Introduction
  2. Specs and Packaging
  3. External Impressions
  4. Internal Impressions
  5. Installation hands-on and Conclusion

“Judge a company’s potential to make more expensive cases by the value they provide in low-cost cases…”- A very good and well-respected reviewer gave me this advice before I started reviewing cases.

Bitfenix sent me one of its cases called Merc Alpha for evaluation. How much value can you put/expect in a $38US / Rs. 2,550/- INR case? Or did the evolution of such low-cost case stop after internal paint job with bottom mounts with 5+ HDD bays is least expected in such cases (and at least 1x USB 3.0 header, considering that’s what NZXT cooked up Source 210 Elite.)??
