DDR4 memory module now available in Japan

Intel’s X99 is supposed to be the first desktop chipset that will utilise DDR4 memory kits, but it seems that Japan has to launch it well before HEDT processor and X99 comes out in the market. 16GB and 32GB DDR4 were found to be sold in Japanese retail shelves for $350 and $685.

The sticks are rated at 1.2v and it uses chips from SK Hynix. The stick however is made by a company called ‘Sanmax Technologies’.

Intel may introduce its X99 chipsets and maybe its HEDT processors during the upcoming IDF event.
