Far Cry 4 to release on November 18 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC

Ubisoft announced in their blog that Far Cry 4 will be released in North America for consoles and PC on November 18th. The game studio added that this will also be an open world first person shooter set in a fiction-made Himalayan region ‘Kyrat’ that’s ruled by a self-proclaimed king. As seen in previous Far Cry games, Far Cry 4 will have exotic geographic features for the player to explore.

FC4_KEYART_618x733The game’s executive producer Dan Hay said,”Following the success of Far Cry 3, we wanted to take the franchise to the next level and create a game that will surprise players and exceed fans’ expectations. Given the unique setting, we feel Far Cry 4 will stand out as a top first-person shooter and we’re eager to reveal more about the game in the coming months.”

As of now, the game is developed across Ubisoft Studios in 5 locations: Montreal, Toronto, Shangai and Kiev.

FC4063_618x348_pressreleaseIt was also revealed that pre-order customer who has also played Far Cry 3 will see Hurk re-appearing in the game for three single-player missions called as ‘Hurk’s Redemption’. Once the pre-order is placed, Far Cry 4 will be automatically upgraded as a Limited Edition. Ubisoft will present the first gameplay footage in E3 2014 on June 9th.
