Gigabyte teases its Z87 G1-Killer Motherboards

Gigabyte has put up their micro site for their G1-Killer series motherboard with an Intel Z87 chipset. What also being teased in the picture is that it comes with an MOSFET/VRM Cooler with a water cooling setup for passive/water cooling purpose.

Asus’ Maximus V Formula had a watercooling unit. Back during 890FX days, Gigabyte had a motherboard with a removable waterblock made specifically for the Northbridge.

Since Gigabyte is labelling their boards with the Ultra Durable labelling, it goes without saying that they will be using the best of components. At one side of the cooler, there’s 8 VRMs. One can easily conclude that this will use 16 VRMs.

MSI was the first to brag about their motherboard, followed by ASRock is bragging about their Windows 8 certification.

Stay tuned for any more updates.
