MSI to have Super RAID 2 implementation which will give over 1500 MB/s throughput

MSI recently posted on their Facebook page that they’re going to provide Super RAID 2 in its notebooks, which works by having 3x mSATA SSDs (128GB) in RAID 0, with an assurance that it will give over 1500 MB/s of data throughput.

MSI has been providing RAID 0 2x HDD setups on certain notebook- usually gaming notebooks, especially using WD Black edition drives (like the GT663R gaming notebook that I’ve reviewed very long time ago), but MSI didn’t specify which benchmarks were used to derive this number from- or if they’ve used one.

MSI also stated that the notebooks will be having 1x HDD cage, but didn’t specify which notebook models will have that.
