MSI Z97A Gaming 6 is the first motherboard to feature USB 3.1 Type-C port

The type-C USB 3.1 port is THE most significant implementation that was in CES 2015, an implementation that a lot of people would eventually start using and appreciate. It didn’t take that long for devices to be based on the reversible type-c connector, but MSI took away the bragging right of being the first motherboard manufacturer to feature the USB 3.1 Type-C port- Z97A Gaming 6.

Other than that, the motherboard is basically said to be just a Gaming 5- an 8-phase CPU VRM design with 3 PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, M.2 SATA, SATA Express, Killer Gigabit Ethernet, Audio Boost. It is assumed that the motherboard will be priced around $160.
