Nvidia’s upcoming entry-level gaming grade graphics card- the GeForce GTX 1650- is coming out very soon. This graphics card is based on Turing architecture with its GPU labelled ‘TU117’. According to Amazon listing, the graphics card uses 4GB GDDR5 running at 8GT/s via a 128-bit interface.
The base/boost clock of the GeForce GTX 1650 is listed as 1405/1665 MHz base/boost clock with 896 shader core. The leaked listing points towards US$ 149, right in the place of the GTX 1050 4GB GDDR5:
Price/Performance Segment placement
The key selling point here is the 1080p entry-level performance with no auxiliary power adapter, pointing towards a sub-75-watt graphics card. It’s going to be a hard sell as it needs to performance and price itself better than GTX 1050 Ti 4GB while keeping an eye on the RX 570. In closer observation, it is an overcrowded market.
