OCZ releases Vector Series SSDs

OCZ’s Vector Series SSD is released with a Barefoot 3 controller, with a promise that will deliver exceptional I/O performance, enhanced reliability and endurance, & a host of differentiated features to empower high-performance laptops, desktops, and workstations with superior storage.

The series is available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of space with read speed performance of up to 550 MB/s, write performance of up to 530 MB/s with random read performance of up to 100,000 IOPS. Although it comes with an MLC NAND, OCZ assures that Vector series can let you use 20GB host writes per day for 5 years, giving their usual 5 years warranty with it.

The SSD comes in a 7 mm. form factor made with alloy housing, primarily aiming towards thin form factor notebooks in mind, but OCZ took care to bundle Vector SSD with a 3.5-inch desktop adapter bracket and Acronis True Image cloning software. This way both thin form-factor notebook owners and desktop users can be satisfied- provided the SSD is as good as it sounds in real world performance- and host write stress testing.

NZXT releases limited Edition ‘CRFT 06 H510 Siege’ Rainbow 6 Siege PC Cases

NZXT released a limited edition and sixth variation of the H510 variation- the CRFT 06 H510 Siege. The case maker collaborated with Rainbow 6 Siege for its special edition. NZXT has been collaborating with respective game studios for having special limited edition for AAA titles. I did test the Fallout 4 Limited Edition H500 a long time ago. It did add an illumination '6' logo on the front panel. It also has special Rainbow 6 Siege 'Puck' viz. a magnet-based holder for headphones. NZXT does its pucks but it sells this variation exclusively with this case.
