SAPPHIRE outs PULSE RX 5700 series with the new TriXX Boost

SAPPHIRE’s AMD Radeon’s exclusive AIC partner, released its variation of the RX 5700 and the RX 5700 XT graphics card. Obviously, the PULSE RX 5700 series comes with its own GPU cooler design which should easily blow away the blower-style reference cooler (Maybe, pun intended) with custom PCB to work with the cooler. This also should be packed with factory-overclocked profiles and some of its in-house utility.

Cooling and Custom Features

Sapphire uses 95mm dual ball-bearing fans and according to its marketing materials, is designed to operate under 75°C while gaming and run up to 10 dBA quieter. Apart from that, Sapphire assures it provides Long-Life Capacitors, Fuse Protection and 12 Layers of PCB to provide stable, reliable, and steady.

For cooling, Sapphire says it has robust VRM Cooling and a high thermal conductivity pad for better heat dissipation. According to them, one of the hottest parts on the RX 5700 family is generated from GDDR6 memory. Therefore its ‘Robust Memory Cooling’ has been integrated into PULSE RX 5700 series graphics card to cool down memory with a specially designed independent cooling module.

We never tested any of Sapphire’s graphics so we can’t really say anything about it. But obviously, other manufacturers will roll out its variants: Gigabyte/ AORUS, ASUS, MSI and even a Chinese domestic variant.
