The specifications couple of Kaveri A series desktop APUs was put up- A10 7850K and A10- 7700K. At this point its speculated that A10-7850K is a flagship Kaveri APU all set to replace Richland APU in 2014. According to the specs of 7850K and 7700K, they are clocked at 4 GHz and 3.8 GHz respectively with 4MB L2 cache with both cores. As been said before, these chips use Quad core Steamroller cores.
The difference is that there are 8 GCN CPU cores on 7850K, whereas 6 cores are on the 7700K. The A10-7850K would be having a TDP of 95W, followed by support for HSA, AMD TrueAudio Technology, DX 11.2, OpenGL 4.3.
Both the chips are for FM2+ Platform and would be released on 14th January 2014. These chips are said to be priced around sub- $150. As said earlier, more details about the Kaveri chips will be revealed at CES 2014. VIA: 1
