SteamOS BETA is now available for Download

For those who are curious to know how SteamOS functions and don’t mind playing around BETA version with the Linux based OS, you can now install it.

For those who don’t know, SteamOS is made by Valve and its aimed to be the first operating system primarily aimed for PC gaming paired with Steam Machine hardware that is made for living room PC gaming.

Some days ago, Valve posted a picture of their Steam Machines and Steam Controller units which will be sent to 300 selected beta participants.


One hiccup however is that as of now, SteamOS will work on a system that uses Nvidia graphics. For more information, you can check out their FAQ page. For those who are interested to download, you can do so from here.
