Ubisoft hacked, users need to reset UPlay passwords

Ubisoft has put up a message on their Facebook page asking people to reset their UPlay accounts.

The company said that they’ve discovered that one of their websites were exploited, to which they were able to gain access. They also added once that they’ve found the unauthorized access to some of their online systems, they’ve taken steps to block the access and started a thorough investigation with the authorities and security experts from inside and outside the company.

The information that was leaked out was some of the account databases which includes usernames, email addresses and passwords.  Though Ubisoft did clarify that no1’s personal information and Credit/debit card were saved, they are now insisting for users to change their passwords.
