WD India outs My Book with 4TB capacity

WD India releases 4TB USB 3.0 version of My Book external storage drive model WDBACW0040HBK. The MSRP for the drive is Rs. 14,999/- + taxes. The lower capacity 2TB comes with an MSRP of Rs. 7,999/- + taxes and 3TB comes with Rs. 9,999/- MSRP. All drives are with 3 years of warranty period.

It should be noted that North America and Europe buyers will get only 2 years of warranty period, whereas APAC and Japan will enjoy 3 years of warranty period. While the actual drive specifications are not mention, it should be pointed out that Amazon U.K. points out that drive used is a 7200 RPM drive. Mind you, the official specs did not say anything about the drive’s rotational speed at all.
