WD outs My Passport Ultra Metal Edition and Anniversary Edition

WD updated their external storage lineups with My Passport Ultra Metal Edition and Anniversary Edition. Though the difference between both is not really mentioned (the anniversary being a gold-coloured casing), these units are now with metal casing up to 2TB storage capacities. 1TB costs approximately Rs. 6,500/- and 2TB costs Rs. 11,000/-.

These drives are available with a three-year warranty period. The metal editions are with Blue-Black and silver casing variants. We haven’t reviewed these yet but they are available for purchase online:
